3 Different Image Sizes?

PostBy Get Skinny on Mon Jul 11, 2011 8:06 pm

Hello Everyone,
I've got the gallery working, but I've got a question about the images. I'm going to be purchasing images from istock photo, and I'd like to be able to buy one, then resize it to fit the thumbnail, carousel, and post page sizes. Is this realistic? Or will I be forced to purchase three different sizes?

And, if I can resize it, what would be the best size to purchase. Meaning is it easier to size down an image than try to size an image up? I imagine the resolution may change with the latter.

My gallery is 600 x 268 and thumbnails are 100 x 75, right?

Suggestions are very much welcome.
Thanks,
GS

buy images 600 by 268 as your size of gallery.
then just resize those down for thumbnails
