I am using the Featured Content Gallery in a site I run, http://archivesofsteel.com/ which will eventually be a showcase of content created for and by fans of the eclectic music artist Doctor Steel.

Great use of a consistent template graphic for the Gallery! Looks really professional that way, and it provide an obviously consistent hook into the rest of your theme.
