Automatic Upgrade Failure in WordPress 2.7

Today I clicked on the automatic upgrade in the WordPress 2.7 plugin panel. The upgrade was supposed to have been successfully completed, but now there is nothing in the blog layout area. I am using Revolution Two lifestyle as my theme. I upgraded from something like version 2.0 to the latest version of featured content gallery.

I checked the plugin settings panel in WordPress and have selected the correct featured category and image size, but nothing appears in the place where featured images used to appear.

Can anyone help me with this problem. Thanks in advance if youi can.
