bar just spins with no images post are there

I am having trouble with this plugin. It just keeps spinning and never shows the images. The posts are there and i can read the text but it never shows the image.

Theme or wp-pagenavi plugin can cause the problem. Try it on default theme with turn off plugin

i tried that but it still didnt work.
i also tried to turn off the plugins and it still didnt work.
then i trie to use it on the classic theme with minimal plugins and it didnt work.
i really hope we can figure this out cause this plugin is great.

Today is the first time I have installed FCG, so it might be some noob problems, I think I've done everything correct in the set-up, but I think my site is having the same issue:

I'm using the Thesis theme and have found that adding global $post to the code like this works:

<?php global $post; include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

squashcannons, what feature you using, category or postid,did you specify articleimg urls for your posts?

i am using the post feature, i specified the titles perfectly. I am using the full urls for the image custom field code. Not sure what else to check you can see the posts 1/2 when you click the 'click for new content ' button

I am experiencing exact the same issue here, I have tried the solution of 'fatbanker' (love the name btw) ... but got database errors. So changed it back again.

I have turned off all the plugins, but no luck.

The FCG is working fine on my current theme (Revolution Lifestyle magazine). I copied the code into the Thesis theme. The black box appears, as soon as I hit the arrow to the left the text underneath the pictures in the carousel also appears, if you click in the carousel you get to the post, but .. the picture does not appear.

I have no clue what to do anymore either.

I have the same problem as the others in this topic, the loading bar is stuck and no images is visible..

In my case, I have installed it on a WPMU site and had to make it compatible with WPMU using the information provided in this topic: feature-request-wordpress-mu-support-90.html

Everything seems ok, but I do see a possible reason, but not a solution in my case..

I see of the help pages, that there should be 4 custom fields available.

[..] If adding custom thumbnails, custom text, or alt tags you need to add the thumbnailimg , featuredtext or alttext custom fields [..]



I don’t have those options and the only custom field i have available is ”featuredimg”.

I have tried different setting within the setup, and don’t actually need to have custom settings as above, but when it’s not there I thought it may have something to do with the problem…
