Ok I have read the forum and see this is a common issue and same directions are given
-i have turned off all plugins and it still was a black streaming screen
- I see the directions say "check settings for the fcg-you conflict"
I have no idea what that is or where to go.. can you give me some help on this thank you

ok i did change from categories to indiv post so now the arrows show up and the headline and excerpt text.. but still black streaming screen...please forgive me i am trying to port my print screen on this page but its no showing up...I have a pc do you know how i can do that...thanks for you help

never mind i fixed it... and once turned off all the plugins it worked so now ill go through and find out which one it is problem my pop up optin
