conflic with query in the columnist theme

Hi there,

I have installed the FCG in to the columnist theme which I will be using as my template. The theme uses jquery for a number of things built in to the template and is conflicting with the FCG.

1. the drop-down menu has stopped working.
2. the box and loading bar appear on my front page but there are no images showing.

I have added 4 custom fields to different posts and still no luck. If you could help me with this problem that would be amazing. I would love to be able to use this particular theme and the FCG together as I love them both!
