Conflict with Carrington-Blog Theme

Hi

I am using the Carrington Blog theme, one of the more popular Wordpress themes, but don't get the gallery to work. I only see a black box. I tried switching off my plugins but nothing happens. When I use Hemingway theme the gallery works fine so I am quite sure the problem must be related to the Carrington Blog theme.
