Conflict with pages / posts

PostBy cloudesign on Tue Aug 25, 2009 8:22 am

I'm using a modified version of WPNow's Triumph theme here: mustangcompression.com/wordpress

After installing the FCG plugin (great implementation of SmoothGallery btw) the menu of posts / news at the bottom left began to have an interesting result: It will take the content from one of the pages in the "page menu" above and insert it where the post should be.

I've double checked - this only happened when the FCG plugin is installed.

Hopefully we can figure this out or I'll have to resort to hard coding SmoothGallery into the site - losing the ability to control the content of the slideshow through Wordpress.

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict

The gallery is not located in the header, it's being called in the content area.

The problem seems similar.

Still having an issue here. It seems the gallery.php is interfering with t Wordpress functions, but in a different way that the problem you linked to. I tried that code, no luck.
