Critical Error When Try to Upload jd.gallery.js.php

Hi,
I tried to turn off the overlay text and carousel name on the jd.gallery.js.php. After changing the attributes to false in the text editor, when I try to upload and override the previous file in my FTP, I keep getting a failed transfer with a critical error.
My permissions are 755. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've changed other files with no issues.
My website is http://eveneyesspeak.com/. In the FCG options I was able to lower the overlay to zero which takes that portion away, but the name is still in the way of some photos.
