Drop Down Menu Disappears

Hi-

1. I installed the plugin and have it almost configured right. I can't get the thumbnails to disappear with only the tab showing- they are in a constant overlay of the larger image.

2. I also have a dropdown menu of a list of training module pages in the navigation bar. This dropdown list goes behind the gallery images making it impossible to read the navigation and access the pages when the end user is on the front page. Is there a work around his?

In regards to number 2 above I noticed tonight the same issue when I was testing my site on other browsers. FGC works fine in the newest firefox and the newest IE. However in the previous version of IE (IE7) I get the dropdown menu going behind FGC.
