Hi, love this plugin!
I am working on customizing the text overlay and am wondering if there's a way to make the overlay fade in and out with the images rather than pop up after the image loads.
Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

there is other way of presnting the overlay, fade,
open scripts/jd.gallery.js.php file and find line
and set it to false

The text overlay on the FCG cant be seen as each picture changes and I dont know how to get it back. As each picture changes in the carousel you can see the overlay trying to appear at the bottom of each picture but no text can be seen.

did you modify gallery.php file? it is missing slider height property..
try to reupload plugin and set text overlay height property in fcg settings
