Fancy zoom is jQuery, which conflicts with the mootools library of FCG. Very simlar to lightbox, slimbos and shadowbox. Fancy zoom and FCG will not work together. Hope this helps.

thanks - helps to know, but does not remedy my problem - do you know of a zoom feature that does play well with FCG?

I named shadowbox incorrectly in my last post - that plugin works with FCG to my knowledge.

Kris -- do know if there is a way to bypass the conflict by only using the script on the homepage vs secondary pages -- i'm not a coder but thought perhaps if there was a way to only use the code on the page that the gallery is featured / req'd then perhaps there is a way to harness the power of multiple (albeit dueling) plugins
thanks for any insight / steve

I'm not sure. My programmer is on vacation for a week, so this is probably something I'd want to run by her, but I'll put it on our list. I'd love to resolve some of the jQuery and image viewer conflicts, and if I can find a workaround, that would be ideal. I'll keep everyone posted.

hey Kris,

wondering if you (and your coder) have had a chance to look at this issue?

Try updating with the new plugin (version 3.1.1) and see if it works. Let me know.

i've updated -- still no luck with the zoom plug-in

would really be beneficial to use the FCG on home page & zoom plug-in on secondary pages (posts)

i have seen a dual header used -- anyone had any luck with this method?

just wondering if there has been any progress re: FCG and fancy zoom

does my dual header option make any sense? one for the home page (where FCG is) and another for all the posts etc (where i would like to use Fancy Zoom) - goal being to not have any conflicting code

thanks in advance

/ steve
