I have FCG installed on three Wordpress blogs and when I first created them it was working perfectly. However, I noticed today that it has disappeared entirely. There's no box, no pictures, nothing at all.

try to deactivate and reactivate fcg plugin

anything else you added recently, plugins,etc. From view source I see that from 5 main javascript/css links, which supposed to be when you activate the gallery, only one is there. I am not sure how this happened. You have only this one:
