FCG hiding Drop down menus in IE-7,8 only

Hello,

I am looking for a little help getting my FCG slide show to not cover the drop down menus in Internet Explorer. My website is http://www.sawneepta.org. I have tried removing all plugins and changed themes (even using twenty ten theme that came with latest version of wordpress.

I have read that the z-index controls this and have tried multiple times to change the layout in the themes CSS. All menus work in FF3+ and FF4 beta, Safari v5.0.3, chrome v9, Opera v11.0.1. However, in IE 7 and 8 the menus hide behind the slideshow.

I have looked through the forums here, at wp-weaver.info and with CSS forums and got as far as z-index. I guess I just don't know where to look any farther.

Any help with this would be appreciated. A link to an answer or what to try next!
