Can you explain what you did to make this work?

thanks,

Hi There,

I think the problem I'm having is related to this thread.

I've installed FCG, and placed it into a page, and all is working correctly.

Howver, the remaining content for the page is over-written by the last featured item, how do I prevent that happening?

THanks

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict
4. Post in this forum to involve me in your troubleshooting. URL is required

I have tried the alternative gallery.php file and still no joy - exactly the same problem.

Thanks

Hi There,

I tried copying the code into gallery.php, but it's still giving the same result?

Thanks

try to put the gallery call in this format
Code: Select all
<?php
global $post; include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php');
?>

Still no joy, although if it helps, I've placed the call to the gallery in a for loop so that it only appears on one page:

<?php
if (is_page(249))
{
global $post; include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php');
}
?>

Thanks

It would be really great if the developer could make a page or thread for this problem with the specific answer clearly shown. I'm having trouble reading through other people's tries and misses because some people have a different understanding of how things work.

you do not need to follow any thread on this site, especially this one long one.
I do not understand why they post it here.
For me the best option would be if user creates new thread with particular question and url of the site.I need just url, actually. Even no explanations. I can see everything through view source, error console and js and css files on the site. User even does not need to search posts, just ask for help, and it will be answered same day, if it is not weekend!
