FCG just stopped

PostBy larah on Mon Nov 07, 2011 12:05 am

My Gallery was working perfectly until today, and now there is nothing there - the url is http://www.queens.school.nz
I have the articleimg in the custom field and have the code in the right place....it's just stopped working! What am I missing?
I have just added more photos to the Photo Album widget would that have had any impact on the FCG?

These are the error details I am getting

2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict

Hi there
Will try and reupload it, have deactivated it and it's not done anything.
The latest plugin I uploaded was Photo Albums in order to show a gallery of art work. FCG was working fine though.
I don't want the titles to show up on the menu at the top, so have left this blank - and have used pages instead of posts to attach the images to

Hi there
I have now deleted and reuploaded the plugin again, and I am still getting the same message. I have had the technician here come in and update Java as well on my laptop just in case it was that, but it appears not!
The only thing I can think of is the WPPhoto Album plugin, but this was working fine initally
Should the pictures be in private posts instead of pages?

I have deleted the WP Photo Album and FCG is still not working. I have tried using the images as posts, I have tried adding names, but nothing is working. I have read trhough so many posts on here on ways to fix this and yet I can't get it to go and I am still getting this error

Is there some way to fix this, or do I simply need to start looking for a new slideshow for the website? This is a website for an organisation and it looks increasingly unprofessional, which is not good!

I had the exact same issue this week. My FCG quit cycling, just stayed static on the first image. I've been using the FCG for the last 18 months without a single issue. I have spent hours over the last two days trying to find a solution to this. I have changed themes, deactivated all plug-ins at once as well as one at a time, and deleted any unnecessary ones. I have not installed a new plug-in in months so I don't understand what could have caused this. No upgrading either. I'm at my wits end and ready to find another gallery unfortunately.

Can you help?

Thanks,

Melissa

My FCG just stopped working too, last week. I have not added any new plug-ins or made any changes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the gallery, I've deactivated all plug-ins and reactivated them one at a time and cannot find a conflict. I've had the gallery on my blog for 18 months and never had an issue until now. I'm using the same category as before and have more than enough images to make the gallery work. Like I said, nothing has changed and I'm stumped!
