FCG Not Working -eDegree Have Read All other posts

Ok I've read every post on this thus far and am still experiencing problems with my FCG gallery. I'm certain I've set it up correctly with 'articleimg' and 'featuredtext' for my featured articles. I've uncommented the jQuery.noConflict(); function call line of code in function.js... When I load the page in firefox the error console shows a call to the jQuery library as an error?

please any help on this would be great as it is holding up a clients website and I'll have to changed template designs if this will not work... and the client likes everything about this template.

I've uncommented the jQuery.noConflict(); function call line of code in function.js...

this line should be commented. Please comment it, and I will take a look
