FCG Plugin Conflict with Shopp Ecommerce Plugin

Hi folks, FCG has been the center of a lot of my designs. I utilize it well with Thesis + Wordpress. I seem to be having an issue on new clients site though:

With Shopp (http://shopplugin.net/) activated FCG simply will not show up. No images, no black box. I think there is an issue with Mootools since Shopp utilizes Jquery too.

With shopp de-activated, FCG works like a champ.

Are there any work arounds for this conflict?

I tried calling FCG from Thesis Open Hooks Plugin using
<?php global $post; include(WP_CONTENT_DIR . '/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

I also tried including it in my custom home.php file and calling it from the custom_functions.php file in Thesis. All with the same result....when shopp gets activated FCG no show.

I appreciate any help on this as I really want to be able to run FCG + Shopp. The weird thing is I was able to do this successfully with this site -----> http://justplayitsports.com

but for some reason I cannot replicate the success on http://upriver.ie.

I am having this same problem and had to disable the Shopp plugin to get the front page FCG to work. I don't want to have to choose between the two of you, I'd like you to get along and work. Anyone know of a fix?
