I have the FCG working on my site but cannot link to my post, only my pages I have selected. Is there something that I have to do different for post in the articleimg?

this is not fcg propblem, because your posts on home page have bad links too to go to direct post..
check your permalinks structure in Admin/Settings/Permalinks..or give me screenshot of that page
