I'm questioning what I thought I understood.
Is featured text option......text that shows in the gallery overlay instead of the post or page title?
If so....when I add the featuredtext key to posts and check the option in settings....I'm still getting the post titles in the overlay.
Any thoughts that might help?

titles will be there still, featured text is a custom description of your post

Do I understand that you MUST have the Post title.. and that the featuredtext is an add on to that.. in other words, I can't have JUST the featuredtext.. without the Post title?
