Gallery Images Don't Display

I upgraded a clients WP to v3.1.2 and now the images aren't displaying in the Featured Gallery. Also, the "read more" link is missing.

The slider works, and clicking on the blank space where the image should be takes me to the correct post. I have the custom field set up with "articleimg" and the link to the post. There are four posts set up in the gallery, each with the relevant custom fields. No new plugins have been added.

This is what Firebug is telling me:
this.galleryData[0] is undefined
[Break On This Error] imgPreloader.src = this.galleryData[0].image;

Any ideas?

I still do not undertand the custom field, probably i need to download another plugin? www.zonanotas.com I think thats my only problem, because I followed the video procedures about how to insttaled and i do not see anything similar (Costum Field) Do you know any pluging?

I can not get the gallery to show any pics. I am using the code through a php widget. I also tried the featured gallery widget and had same results.

Is there a simple way to discover a conflict?
