How to Enable Featured Content Gallery for a Static Page

PostBy thattai on Sat Apr 16, 2011 11:23 am

Hi,
My website is www.innov-zone.com. I figured using eDegree as a theme best serves the interests of the page. eDegree comes with a static page with a single picture. The theme suggested to using Featured Content Gallery for creating the gallery effect with multiple images.

Quickly downloaded the FCG plugin and have been breaking my head over the last 2 days to figure it out without any luck. Would greatly appreciate any help.

My current situation is that I want the picture gallery on the landing page. I'm trying to keep it simple. All my attempts lead to an empty box in my landing page. I have tried adding the php code in various files but all I get is the empty box.

Since the landing page is not specifically a post or a page with id, I am not sure where to add the custom fields articleimg ... Take a look and maybe one minute of your time can save me a day..
Greatly appreciate your help.
