I am having the same issues as the others. I have searched, read, and pulled out some hair and I still can't get it working.

I have disabled all plugins except for FCG and I have reverted back to the default theme. The same thing happens regardless of what theme I use - just a black box.

The source code indicates that I should have text and images in the gallery, but they won't show up.

I would recommend to redownload/reupload the plugin

Thank you for the reply. I deleted the plugin folder from my web server and uploaded a fresh copy. Sadly, it still does not work

check permissions of wp-content and fcg plugin folder, should be 755

How incredibly odd! I didn't do anything other than what we already discussed. Wow!! LOL Let me see if it will work on my custom theme, then I'll start activating the plugins.
