I Need To Modify FCG but....

I've change the admin name on wordpress for security reasons. I have to modify the plugins also to include the new name. When ever I try to edit FCG file content-gallery.php, I get these messages. Are you sure you want to modify. Yes or No. I always choose Yes. Once I modify it, and try to save the changes, this message follows: Access to (my file folder) was denied. What should do?

The file I want to change is content-gallery.php.

'/wp-admin/admin.php?page=featured-content-gallery/options.php';

That is the only string of code I need to change, so can you please help me out?
