IE 6 Slideinfozone CSS issue

PostBy beerkid on Sat Mar 07, 2009 7:59 am

The part that displays the text for the image shows up in the middle of the image instead of at the bottom.

I tried modifying code below using conditional tags but nothing changed, even after clearing cache. What CSS do I change to fix this?

<!--[if IE 6]>
.jdGallery .slideInfoZone
{
position: absolute;
z-index: 50;
width: 100%;
margin: 0px;
left: 0;
bottom: 0;
text-indent: 0;
overflow: hidden;
}
<![endif]-->

Thanks!

That's exactly what I would have done, so I'm at a loss. Can you post a link so I can test it in IE6? Have you checked your browser stats to see how many are using IE6? I hate that browser.

Agreed! IE6 is horrible but 12% of my traffic uses it so I'd like to appease them :)

Here's the fix:

Go into jd.gallery.css (in your FCG css folder) and find this (lines 41-44):
Code: Select all
* html .jdGallery .slideInfoZone
{
bottom: 100px;
}

Change it to this:
Code: Select all
* html .jdGallery .slideInfoZone
{
bottom: 0px;
}

Let me know if this resolves your issue.

I am afraid not. It moved the featured content tab to the bottom of the image/box. It did not have an effect on placement of slideinfozone.

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict
4. Post in this forum to involve me in your troubleshooting. URL is required

I deactivated "Shutter Reloaded". I'm still not showing the slide show in IE6. Are you? Thanks.
