IE position issue

PostBy baiganchoka on Thu May 21, 2009 12:56 pm

Hello there,

I'm having a problem with internet explorer. FCG works great except when you resize the browser in IE FCG moves out of position. Any idea how to resolve that? If you need to see what I'm talking about visit here using IE, http://www.pearmed.com/

Thanks!

add property
Code: Select all
position:relative;

into your #wrap div in your theme style.css

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict

Thanks for your help. That solved the problem. I tried that before, but in the div.

I am having a similar issue in that in IE the title bar is permanently in the middle. I may be unclear where the position code goes in the stylesheet.css. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It will go to your theme style.css..
since I do not know your site url, I can not tell you what exact style you should put it into..probably "wrap" or "content"

I just checked my site, http://www.socpa.com in IE 6.0. It seems that I'm having the same problem, with the title bar smack-dab in the middle of the photo, but only in 6.0----it's fine in IE 7 and IE 8.

Thanks for any help and insight you can provide.
