Intermittent error

Hi there. I get an intermittent error, sometimes the gallery shows, sometimes it doesn't. This usually happens on IE 8. Here's the error message:

I wonder what's wrong? I haven't touched the code except for the tips outlined here:http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-script-only-on-homepage. Please help!
