Just a blank box with a border

I've installed the FCC, used many different themes, it won't work with any of them. As you've suggested in other posts, I've tried the default theme, disabled all other plugins, etc, to no avail.

I'm trying to set it up in a localhost setup on a Windows XP machine, using Xampp, in an updated Firefox browser. I've got the latest WordPress and FCC installed.

I have FCC set up to display 'featured' content, and have three images created in posts exactly as per the instructions, marked for the 'featured' category. I have the call installed in the theme's index.php page.

All I get is a blank box with a border on the home page.

I like the examples you post of a successful install, and would really like to use it, but I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

I have the same problem on this site. http://www.cellisti.cz/ I was successfully using it for 1 year and suddenly (? after system or wp3 update) stop working. Thank for help.

I'm having a similar problem with the white box and black border. It was working and then I am not sure what I did to cause it to stop working.

I'm trying to run FCG here on the front page of my site:

Again, I get the black box but no images. I've deactived other plugins, deleted other plugins, reinstalled other plugins, I've re-uploaded the images into the uploads folder, I've deleted the "bookmark" javascript, I've tried solutions from other sites, but nothing works.

FYI, I also have FCG running fine on this site:

[Interestingly, this site is running on WordPress 3.0.1 and has no other plugins at all]

I'm slowly going mad. Hope someone can help.

it looks like the problem with the theme, conflict. try default theme to see it is true
