Hi Admin,

In my post I already mentioned I turned off all the other plugins... it did the same thing.

Can you look at the file or do I need to send it to you?

Thanks

One more thing....

The website was fine with the theme I was using. It was after upgrading to Wordpress 2.8.5. I have seen you have gotten it to work for other folks in other threads. So I am hoping to get it to work again with the same theme. Changing the theme is not an option for me... to much customization to give it up. I would have to move to the other similar plug (Dynamic Content Gallery) in before I give up the theme, they claim compatibility with WP 2.8.5.

Please help me get this working again.

Thanks

Maybe this would help you or others for reference... I saw it in another thread in this forum:

you already gave up??? :lol:dynamic content gallery is almost the same as fcg..but it allows not more than 5 posts)))

P.S. most of questions here about why is fcg not working is first statement in my signature, which means fcg set up wrong by USER...

Hi Admin,

The problem was not as you stated... the custom field articleimg was in place, however it prompted me to look again at the value... which for some reason had changed. How or why I do not know. But thanks very much for the pointer. I replaced it with a pasted URL of the image in the value field and it is now working like is was.

P.S. I never gave up, on FCG and I did not like the limitations of only five images in DCG. It is nice to know it was something simple on my end that I could fix.

Peace.

Re: Just Black Box ... PLESK???

PostBy herbholist on Sat Nov 21, 2009 8:31 pm

OK... so i think this is alllllll the relevant info.
1. i disabled the other plugins.
2. Im on a godaddy server BUT i do have a MediaTemple DV server running plesk
Installed on Godaddy because I was afraid Plesk was going to require config

My site: http://biodrux.com looks like this:
1.jpg
black box only
1.jpg (160.93 KiB) Viewed 3894 times

My settings are:
2.jpg
no advanced options
2.jpg (140.41 KiB) Viewed 3894 times

and my posts are set to category:
3.jpg
thumb and articleimg ONLY
3.jpg (122.33 KiB) Viewed 3893 times

Any guesses?

If i went to mediatemple.net hosting would this be fixed?
BUT would I have NEW Plesk problems???

right now there is no fcg on your site..but I still see where could be the problem..your theme has jquery in it, also you have thickbox plugin..both could cause the conflict to fcg
