Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
When I activate the plugin below (collapsing pages) the FCG goes into perpetual load and my images never come up.
Any known solutions or common areas in the code to check into?
Thanks,
Peter

FCG and IzzyMenu aren't willing to play nice for us.

Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
Just saw this in the replies...
FCG will conflict with many plugins and themes because it is using MooTools and doesn't enqueue JavaScript files/libraries correctly. wordpress-conventions-wp-enqueue-script-894.html#p3685
Is FCG going to correct this? Sounds like MooTools is a broken tool.

Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
I have FCG working with the following plugins (which have previously been reported to conflict):
However, on my site, it definitely does not work with Lightbox 2 by Lokesh Dhakar (I know there is another plugin also called Lightbox 2 by someone else -- haven't tried that one). But thats ok, since the other lightbox style plugins work...
I must point out that I (a) am only using FCG on my front page, and none of the above-mentioned plugin effects are used on the front page (I think), and (b) I only tested that simply activating the above-mentioned plugins did not break FCG on the front page. I haven't rigorously tested posts and other pages to see if there are other issues.
- WP E-Commerce (v 3.7, now called WP Shopping Cart) [I have the premium gold-cart and gridview options]
- NextGen Gallery (including the NextGen Flashviewer sub-plugin)
- Lightboxy-type effects:
- Thickbox
- Shutter Reloaded
- Post Tabs
- WordTube

I have this plugin working with e-commerce in Sarafi and Firefox but it seems to die when you use Internet Explorer. Does anyone know why and if there is a fix for this?

Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
I have been unable to get FCG to work with any drop down menu methods I have tried. Is there anyone out there that has successfully used FCG and has drop down menus?

Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
Kris, thanks for all you do with FCG! ROCK ON!
I was super excited about trying the "WP Greet Box" plugin today. Started modifying it and realized later it hid all my FCG images in my gallery - what a bummer!
Wondering if you or anyone else has found a workaround for this - would be super cool! Thx!

Re: Known FCG Plugin Conflicts
Guys, major help needed!
I'm starting a wordpress 2.8.4 website called The Gamer, and so far I've been losing my mind with its development.
I'm using the Word Mag 1.0 theme, designed by Uno Design Studio, and in the .zip file I downloaded, there was a folder with the FCG plugin. I installed everything correctly (I checked 5 times!) and have not touched any file, so I'd have a live preview on my website and work from there. I'm a zero, good-for-nothing person as a programmer, webdesigner. I don't know how to even start working with code lines, HTML and alike. But I'm here, asking for help anyways.
For a start, here's my site's link: http://www.thegamer.com.br.
See the place where the error code appear? That's what I'm talking about. I haven't done ANYTHING whatsoever with either the FCG plugin or the Word Mag theme, and it still gives me the error message. I have no idea on how to fix this.
I have the following plugins:
Akismet
Featured Content Gallery
Feedburner Feedsmith
flickrRSS (deactivated)
Limit Posts
NextGEN Gallery
SI CAPTCHA
Smooth Slider (deactivated)
Twitter for Wordpress
wp-cache
wp-PageNavi
As you can see, all of them are activated, except for flickrRSS and Smooth Slider. I feared that it would be a conflict between plugins, so I deactivated every one of them, leaving only FCG in use. No good. Then I moved on activating only those I'd use for a different purpose of that of FCG, which would be a nice-looking "magazine cover" look for my website. Still no good.
This is the only thing keeping me and my team from posting. The rest of the site still needs a little bit of programming, but none of my guys could solve this issue [NOTE: After they failed to solve the matter, I deleted the plugin and the theme, then I reinstalled everything back from scratch once again, and the error message persisted).
Can anyone tell me if fixing this issue is a difficult task? Can anyone help me out with this setback?
I'd be much appreciated for any attention.
Thank you very much.
