I have been checking out Slide Shows all over the internet trying to find one that provides the solution I am looking for.
my website that is still in development is www.unconferencetour.com
I am trying to get a slideshow plugin for wordpress.org that will work with the widget area that I have set up. If you go to my website and you will see in the middle of the page I have 3 widgets I would like to set up a slideshow for the posts on the under the blog widget but I need to be able to customise the width and height.
I have a few questions
1) Is this possible and will it work with the theme/widget?
2) Can I create hyper links for each image with your plugin?
3) Can I customize which category gets displayed if I set up 2 widgets? I would like to have "UnConference's" to just show event posts and "Blog" to show posts that contributors are posting. Is that possible?
4) Is it compatible with Apple products because it looks like it is a java script. meaning if people are looking at our website on an iPad will they be able to view the images?
5) Does your plugin support YouTube videos?
Thank you
Looking install but have a few questions

Re: Looking install but have a few questions

Yes, the gallery call should be in this format and php exec plugin should be installed to render php code as php but not text, unless you theme already has support for rendering php code
- Code: Select all
<?php global $post; include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>
2) Can I create hyper links for each image with your plugin?
in fcg each image in gallery is an image from the articleimg custom field of each post, it is already linked to post
3) Can I customize which category gets displayed if I set up 2 widgets? I would like to have "UnConference's" to just show event posts and "Blog" to show posts that contributors are posting. Is that possible?
gallery will be the same on each page.
4) Is it compatible with Apple products because it looks like it is a java script. meaning if people are looking at our website on an iPad will they be able to view the images?
it is working
5) Does your plugin support YouTube videos?
No

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict
4. Post in this forum to involve me in your troubleshooting. URL is required
