My page title was removed?

I created posts for the photos displayed, and the gallery has removed my page title (About MTOA) with the posts title.

I tried editing the css file, changing the font from 14 to 0. I tried removing <?php the_title() ?> from between the h2's in gallery.php. Please help.

As a work around I changed the title of the first post from photo to the title I wanted to have on the home page. I'd love to know if there is a more correct way to fix this.
