No images on new posts

Hello,

I have been using FCG for a while with no problems. I recently did a site overhaul and everything is functional.

PROBLEM: All old posts work fine. However, when creating new posts, the text and title appear in the box, but not the image.

The image for the new post displays correctly in the media gallery and also when you load it directly in the browser. When I use the "articleimg" custom field, FCG doesn't display the image in the gallery.

There are other posts with images in the same directory that display fine. When I use an image from an older post, the image displays fine in the new post. For some reason FCG is not recognizing the newly uploaded images.

I've removed the post from the "featured" category, so it isn't currently displaying on the site. The site url is here: http://www.bradleyquick.com

now everything looks fine, I need that problem to be on site to troubleshoot

There is nothing to see that I didn't already describe. The post in question displays the title and text, but not the image, just the loading bar. I'm not going to intentionally keep an error running on the main page of the site. It's bad for business.

Hi! I have got this same problem! I tried it on the 2010 theme on Wordpress 3.04 as well. Only old posts are displaying the image, The new posts just have the loading bar and text below.

Did you find a solution?

Hi Yelena,

Do you have any idea why it's doing this? i.e no image on the new posts just the loading bar. The text from the post displays correctly. I haven't installed any new plugin or changed any other website settings. And it's doing it on both my test site (with the 2010 theme) and my live site

Hi Yelena,

Hope you are well. I have 3 images in the post so am not sure how FCG determines which image to use. I don't specify which image FCG should use. I guess I should read the user guide to find out how you specify a specific image.

The first image on the post is http://www.bright-work.co.uk/wp-content ... ta_1_0.jpg which is accessible fine.

Hi Yelena!

Silly me! I forgot to create a articleimg custom field in the post I want the image to display from!
Sorry for having wasted your time but at least we both now know you get this symtom i.e loading bar with no image and the text from the post showing when the articleimg custom field is not set in the post/page.
