Re: No Pics display, only loading...
did you put articleimg custom fields for each post in gallery?
if yes, then try to put the gallery call in this format:

<?php global $post; include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

Re: No Pics display, only loading...
I am having the same problem. I used the new call code on the index page but it still just has the black box with the loading screen. I shut off all my plugins and that didn't change anything. I also have three posts with the custom field of articleimg selected. Is there anything else I can do? My site is http://medmonthly.com/mywp/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same issue... my website is http://www.kontactproductions.com
I have custom fields enabled and have added the thumbnail and featured img code into the 2 featured posts I'm trying to get to show up. Alas nothing is showing up just the endless loading bar...
You can see whats going on on that website, and that includes the fix you suggested earlier.
Here are some screens of my WP admin that shows some of my settings...

Don't mean to be multi posting (i think my original might have been sent twice)
I've fixed the issue here, the case was that Category name did not match my category slug - might I suggest an update that changes the string "Category Name" in FCG setting to "Category Slug"

Re: No Pics display, only loading...
My images are not showing either. Only shows loading. I've put articleimg and placed the url in the value. I'm using the clear theme from solostream. is that compatible? http://smokeshoptimes.com
Thanks for any help
