I found the custom fields & now they show up on the screen on my blog posts. I had to add the articleimg as a new option as it wasn't in the list anymore. But now it wants me to put a custom field value. What should go in there? There aren't any check boxes either. Am I in the wrong place?

for whatever posts you want for fcg, you put the image url in articleimg custom fields
