posts in gallery to not show in blog...possible?

PostBy motherhuddle on Wed May 27, 2009 6:49 am

I hate to even ask this because I am sure it has been covered, but couldn't find it. I would like the posts that are displayed in my FCG to only show there. not in my blog content. We have weekly articles that will be displayed in the FCG and I would like to reserve the blog content for random posts. thanks for any help!

wordpress shows recent posts on home page always...but
If I understood correctly your question, your task can be accomplished like this:
you put your featured posts in specific category and you use category option in fcg options,
then by using "front-page-excluded-categories"]plugin(http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fro ... ategories/), you can exclude featured category from presentation on home page

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict
4. Post in this forum to involve me in your troubleshooting. URL is required
