Potential Conflict & FCG No Longer Working

PostBy jpsherman on Wed Jun 23, 2010 9:11 am

Here are the details:

Last week I did a major redesign of the site and added FCG to my layout. It worked perfectly and I absolutely love it.

However, I noticed that after the redesign, my Google Analytics registered only 5 visitors per day (after I was trending between 300 & 500 per day).

I checked my analytics plugins, re-set them and all seemed fine. After I did that, I noticed that the FCG plugin no longer worked. What would happen is that the frame would load, but the images wouldnt. All of the posts were configured properly, so I deleted the plugin, re-downloaded it and re-installed it.

The images still failed to load.

I deleted my Google Analytics plugins and repeated the uninstall/ reinstall steps. The images still failed to load.

I've reached the end of my expertise and would love some assistance or help. If there's any additional data you need, I'll be happy to provide it.

The website is http://setonstun.com where you'll see the frame (but not the images load)

Thank you for your time and the amazing plugin.

you do not have articleimg custom field specified for first post in gallery

1. Check settings to exclude fcg-YOU conflict
2. Try to turn off all your plugins at once to exclude fcg-other plugin conflict
3. Try default theme to exclude fcg-theme conflict
4. Post in this forum to involve me in your troubleshooting. URL is required

Thanks! Here's where my ignorance shines :)

In the "Featured Content Section" in the FCG control panel, I have "category selection" clicked. Under that, I have the category as "Set on Stun" with 5 images to display.

As for my posts, I currently have 4 posts with "articleimg" in the custom field and the corresponding image link in the value section. Each of those posts have the category "set on stun" attached.

I know you're busy, rather than walking me through it, is there a link you can drop to show me how to fix my issue? I know it's probably something very simple that I'm missing.

Again, thank you!
