Removing top thumbnails and Featured Content button

Thank you for your beautiful gallery. I am building a site http://westectank.com/wide/
I only want to use 3 or 4 images, so I would like to remove the top thumbnail dropdown and the words "Featured Content" that appear at the top. The box for "custom thumbnail image" is unchecked in my settings, but that does not eliminate the thumbnails. Do I have to modify the code? Can I speed up the slideshow slightly? Thanks.

Saw this in an earlier post:


Yes, you can do it, Open the plugin folder "content-gallery". Then open the "scripts" folder, and open the file "jd.gallery.js". Scroll down to line:

and change true to false, and your carousel is gone

It worked! Thanks, jubbling. I edited line 14 as directed, and then I reduced the value in line 20 from 9000 to 5000 to speed up the slideshow. I really appreciate your help.

FCG Updated and unfortunately the annoying carousel is back, the fix doesn't appear to be working....

You have to do same thing in other file now..jd.gallery.js.php and it will work

Hi there, I just installed the newly updated FCG on WP 2.8.

I've got the featured images showing well but I can not get the thumbnails to show up. I made a photo smaller to the 100x75 and then uploaded, grabbed the src url and then proceeded to check the box that allows me to add thumbnails. I then go to the key section and inter "thumbnailimg" and the enter the appropriate url. I update the post and nothing happens. Could someone help me? Am I suppose to add like some sort of thumbnail code?
