Solution to Empty Box Issue

I had the empty box, loading bar issue and tried all the complicated stuff first. Duh. The FIX and the thing that wasn't stressed was:

GO to the Featured Content Gallery Configuration page and MAKE SURE your "Category Name" in the options setting MATCHES the "Category Name" you set up in your post category! For instance, I had originally set "Headline" as my Category Name on the configuration page, but was clicking "Featured" on my post page. Simple fix. I just changed the configuration page to Featured and it worked. FIVE second fix.

I hope this helps someone else. Getting the configuration to match and also making sure articleimg is spelled correctly and is all lower case...little things like that make a difference! I'm so glad this forum and video (which finally ran for me) is here! SO helpful!!! Yay!!!

I had an empty box issue also and it was for a different reason. There was a conflict with the "Lightbox" plugin. I turned off that plugin and it worked.


Try turning off other plugins to make sure there's not a conflict.

Another thing to make sure of is that you post at least two images, otherwise FCG won't work.
