White Spacing

I am lost as much as I can be, and I am far from a coder, etc, but I have tried to find the answer, used Firebug and nothing much.

I have a white spacing on my featured gallery, in Safari you can see it, in FireFox it is not there.

I changed the display to other styles and one of them, the Vertical swipe, removes the space, but I want to maintain the Fade. I have had the site for a few years now, and it just appeared last week.

Help, please!
