Hello!
The following is going to make me sound like a total noob with word press, and that’s because I am! I checked the forums for answers, and I think I even got myself more confused, so here I go asking a question that I suspect you have gotten many times over, but had difficulty in finding the answers.
OK, I installed the featured content gallery, and for a template I am using Albizia 1.4.2. I apologize that I don’t have a direct link, as I am working on a local host. But I hope that I give enough info to get help
So after installing and adding the code, there is a new blank or black (background is black) area underneath the header, and above the first featured post, and that is where I want the content gallery to go. So I think I am good there(?) However, visually there is no indication that there is a plug in at all. (No faded frame or drop bar or anything.)
When I go to settings, and try set it up the gallery to display posts, I have not used the key articleimg and the full url of image in the value for my pages, as I am not sure on how to do this. Could I get some pointers or examples? I think the verbiage or wording is confusing me again. I suspect that is why I have nothing but a blank space...unless there is something else wrong?
Any assistance is appreciated! And again, sorry for the noob post, and that Im working on a localhost so no live looks, and that could limit your assistance. But again, anything is appreciated!

To use "articleimg" --
1) When you're in Edit Post, go up to the upper right of your screen under where it says "Howdy, BLOGNAME: and click on "Screen Options" (this is how you determine what options will show on your Edit Post screen). Make sure "CUSTOM FIELDS" is checked. This will set your screen up so you can see and use this option.
2) In the Custom Fields section of your Edit Post page, click "ENTER NEW"
3) In the text field that appears, type in "articleimg" (without the quotes).
4) In the text box to the right, put the full path of the JPG you want to appear in your slideshow (make sure it is the exact size of the image box for your slideshow
5) Note that you have to have at least TWO images in your slideshow for it to work properly
6) Other things to note -- I could not get mine to work at first and then determined that there's a conflict with the Plugin "Lightbox" and when I turned that plugin off it worked.
